I present the four distinct stages of me learning how to swim by creating an entirely different atmosphere in each book. In the first book, the color is bright and vivid, symbolizing curiosity but the water on the first layer is non-transparent so it covers up the unknown underwater world. The second book as well as the second image evokes anxiety as the dark-colored water occupies two-third of the image and the creatures underwater are dreadful. The third book is more of calm imagery as the waves of water are more smooth than others and the creatures seem more friendly. The fourth image only contains the character and bubbles since I want to create an image that I can isolate myself in the water and be protected from the chaotic world.
